Thanks everyone for a great tournament! I hope everyone had a great time. Despite itching to roll some dice, I really enjoyed being TO and look forward to next time.
The big improvement for next time will be more space between tables! It was a little tight for tables 1-5, but I appreciate everyone’s patience. Also, note that all entry fees went toward prizes. Next time I’ll have gift cards ready to go starting game one for exceptional or lucky achievements throughout the tournament.

Regarding painting scores. Since there was only 1 fully painted army and a handful of mostly painted armies, the painting scores were generally as such with 40pts being the maximum:
10pts for having an army
20pts for having an army with no proxies
30pts for having a fully painted (ie 3 colors and basing) army
Those are the baselines scores and then from there points will be added based on how well the army is painted, and how much of the army is painted. I’m open to suggestions, but I think this is the best way to approach painting scores until more painted armies are fielded.
I think the scoring system worked in general, but will be evaluating that as well.
Again, thanks for the great turnout and see you in two months! And get painting!
